Father Albert Cutie clearly isn’t seeking a quite life after leaving, some say pushed out of the Catholic Church for a not-too private love affair. The former Roman Catholic priest from Miami has penned a new book, kissing and telling about his affair and his disenchantment with the Catholic Church.
Cutie was a very popular priest in Miami that at one time hosted a Catholic radio show, penned an advice column and hosted a popular Telemundo talk show. All this ended when photos were released of him frolicking on the beach with a woman, Ruhama, who is now his wife and mother of their baby daughter Camila.
The book ‘Dilemma: A Priest’s Struggle with Faith and Love’ comes out tomorrow and does not speak kindly of the Catholic institution he was a part of. In the book he refers to the Archdiocese of Miami as “disconnected” “bishops too concerned with their own images” and “misogynistic”. Cutie also lays blame on most of the Churches problems on their celibacy policy. Noting, “there are so many homosexuals, both active and celibate, at all levels of clergy.”
