The campaign to build an American Latino Museum in our nation’s capital just got a boost from some major star power.
Congress is currently considering the Smithsonian American Latino Museum Act which would designate the Arts & Industries Building on the National Mall for the museum.
“Our campaign to build the American Latino Museum has support from Capitol Hill to Hollywood—and a grassroots network of almost 350,000 online followers. This video showcases the momentum we have built and the desire in the Latino community to see this museum come to life,” said Cid Wilson, chair of the Friends of the American Latino Museum board of directors.
Now it’s Congress’s turn to join us and pass the Smithsonian American Latino Museum Act,” said Wilson.
