Yolanda Jimenez Lugo and her husband Gabriel Aguirre Manuel, both pleaded not guilty in a San Diego court room today to not being in this country illegally.

Yolanda came to notoriety as the mother of ‘El Ponchis’ the 14-year old Mexican hit man who beheaded his murder victims allegedly under orders from a drug cartel.  El Ponchis, whose name is actually Edgar Jimenez was on his way back to his mother from Mexico when authorities captured him and his two sisters.

Jimenez and her husband had been previously deported and are now charged with illegally reentering the country which carries a jail sentence if convicted.  The judge may also rule to simply deport the couple if found guilty of being in the country without the proper documents.
