A passenger bus traveling through the highlands of Ecuador enroute to Quito crashed early Sunday morning killing 38 passengers and leaving many others injured. This is the worse bus accident to occur in this South American country. The bus originated from the Cuenca crashing 55 miles south of Quito as it was making a sharp curve, plunging into a deep ravine. Government officials are investigating.
