Over the last few years, singer/actress Demi Lovato has been through a lot.
In a matter of a few short years, the former Disney princess was dealing with worldwide fame, full-time jobs in television and movies, national and international singing tours, and she did all this while battling depression, eating disorders, and heartbreak in the public eye.
In a new MTV documentary, the 19-year-old opens up about her life, her struggles, and her fight to get her life back.
The documentary, “Demi Lovato: Stay Strong” shares the inspiring words she has tattooed on her wrists, which she revealed on Tuesday.
In 2010, Lovato left her tour with the Jonas Brothers to enter an Illinois treatment facility. In the special, viewers see her travel back to the facility and speak with those currently undergoing treatment.
The special premiers Tuesday, March 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
