Television is about to get a lot cheesier thanks to Erik Estrada being the first “star” confirmed for Univision’s hit reality show “Mira Quien Baila” (Look Who’s Dancing).
The announcement was made this week during the network’s “El Gordo y La Flaca” entertainment show.
Dubbed by the show’s co-host Lili Estefan, as “the most successful reality show in all of Hispanic television,” the Dancing With the Stars knockoff features well known B-listers shaking their nalgas for their charity of choice.
Saying he’s doing it because his mom is a big fan of the show, the 62-year-old telenovela legend got visibly choked up during an interview and in his pocho best, summed up his dancefloor expectations:
“Ojalá que if I suck, they don’t kick me out.”
