The Real Madrid forward suffered a grade-1 sprain in his left ankle after he was tackled by Atletico de Madrid’s Colombian defense Luis Amaranto Perea.
Ronaldo finished the game on the injured ankle, but Real Madrid’s doctors confirmed the player’s ankle sustained a sprain.
Real Madrid’s official website reported that Ronaldo did not participate in training on Tuesday, but didn’t say if the player will be back for Saturday’s match against Sporting Gijon.
