Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo surprised the world last summer when he announced he had become a father. Now his baby’s momma, wants her bundle of joy back.
At the time, he got the mother—an attractive 20 year old British student, to sign a 10 million pound deal, buying her silence, and complete custody of the baby, who is being raised by the soccer star’s mother and sisters.
The contract forbids the woman from disclosing who is the child’s father to family, friends and press, and to discuss with anyone the source of her new fortune.
Sources say the woman splurged on her loot for a few months as if she was a lottery winner—which is the story she told, but now deeply regrets her decision, and has fallen into a bitter depression, even dropping out of school.
She desperately wants to see the baby, but the contract she signed, forbids her to.
‘She’s often calling him [Ronaldo] late at night. She cried down the phone to him and pleads with him,’ a source close to the woman told the Sunday Mirror.
‘He shouldn’t even be in contact with her but they have got into a twisted sort of routine.
‘She even calls him after matches to congratulate him on how he played, hoping that one day she can appeal to his better nature.
‘She feels like she has sold her soul. She has this millionaire lifestyle but can never tell her friends and family the truth about what has happened and that makes her feel incredibly lonely.’
A fellow Real Madrid player said ‘As far as Ronaldo is concerned, it was her choice, her decision.’
Ronaldo was quoted saying of the woman ‘I’ve only spent time with her naked’ as their only encounter was a one night stand.
After discovering the woman was pregnant, she contacted him through his agent, Jorge Mendes; a DNA test was carried out while he was a in South Africa playing in the World Cup. The results were positive and the player announced he had become a father on July 3 via Facebook.
On December 8, the baby made his first public appearance at a Real Madrid game. He was being carried by Ronaldo’s mother Dolores, 55, who is raising the baby with the player’s sisters, Elma and Liliana Catia.
