Charlie Sheen took his ‘tiger blood’ to Scotland for less than 48-hours in search of the elusive Loch Ness Monster.
The 47-year-old actor gave the first clue of his search for the legendary Loch Ness with the following Tweet over the weekend: “‘Once again MIT grant sanctioned archeologists Pekk & Sheen, rig battle gear for tonight’s sortie on the Loch Ness.’‘
Sheen and pals stayed at Scotland’s Aldourie Castle near Inverness where legend has it Loch Ness roams the Scottish Highlands. Aldourie offers “mystery and folklore of Loch Ness” for the true believers.
The group flew to Scotland on the actor’s private jet and upon arrival were greeted by bagpipers to kick off their short-visit. TMZ is reporting exclusively that Sheen and company rented a boat in search of Loch Ness armed with a bottle of scotch ONLY.
There have been over 4,000 sightings of the beast all of them unconfirmed. Most of the witnesses described a large creature with one or more humps protruding above the waters surface. Others reported seeing a long neck or flippers.
No word if Sheen spotted anything out on the Scottish highlands.
Sheen made the quick escape as his custody battle with ex-wife Brooke Mueller heats up. She just moved out of a sober living facility and is ready to regain custody of their twin boys. Currently, Sheen’s other ex-wife Denise Richards has temporary custody of the boys, Bob and Max, with Sheen’s approval.
What a mess no wonder he’s searching for the elusive Loch Ness.
