Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform in Buenos Aires on Sept. 14 as part of the South American leg of the New Jersey rocker’s “Wrecking Ball” tour, his Web site said.
The concert will take place at the Estadio G.E.B.A. facility in the Argentine capital.
While showcasing songs from the 2012 album “Wrecking Ball,” the set list is sure to include old favorites from a catalogue that dates back four decades, such as “Born to Run,” “Glory Days” and “Dancing in the Dark.”
The Boss signed up earlier this year to be one of the headliners at the Rock in Rio festival in the Brazilian city, subsequently adding dates in Santiago, Sao Paulo and - now - Buenos Aires.
Though the tour has garnered rave reviews in Europe and the United States, the experience has been somewhat bittersweet for Springsteen and the band as it marks their first time on the road since the death of saxophonist and E Street charter member Clarence Clemons.
