After a brutal weekend for the University of Michigan Wolverines, its coach, Rich Rodriguez is said to be out. Rodriguez met with the University’s athletic director Dave Brandon earlier this afternoon and a meeting with the team is scheduled for 6:00 pm CST.
Both FoxNews Detroit and ESPN are reporting all indications are Rodriguez’ coaching career will end, this being his third season. Michigan’s loss to Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl appears to have been the final blow.
Rodriguez will leave Michigan with an overall record of 15-22 and a contract buy out for the remaining three years of $2.5 million.
