People gathered in Ciudad Juarez at the Desesperados Club to watch the boxing match between Manual Pacquiao and Mexico’s favorite Antonio Margarito. Things turned violent around 1:00 a.m in the morning when an unidentified woman followed by a group of armed man entered the night club.
The armed group began firing at club patrons leaving five people dead and three injured. Mexican police are looking at reports that a YouTube video page contained conversations about rivals of the Juarez drug cartel being at the Deseperados night club. It is not known if the YouTube conversations angered the Juarez cartel and they retaliated with this shooting.
