This just in: a 6.9 earthquake hit Baja California, Mexico at 12:53 pm (CST) rattling scenic La Paz and tourist mecca Cabo San Lucas. There were several ‘fore’ shocks yesterday that foreshadowed today’s quake.
The quake occurred this morning and was initially reported with a 6.6 magnitude centered in the Gulf of California. There are no reports of serious damage or injuries.
