The top bidder for the young Brazilian woman auctioning off her virginity will pay $780,000.
Catarina Migliorini, 20, made international headlines in recent weeks as she auctioned off her virginity, saying she would donate as much as 90 percent of the auction price to charity. Many were skeptical however, including the auction organizer Justin Sisely who said Migliorini “made it clear that it was a business decision for her,” and not really for charity.
So who was the top bidder?
Known only as “Nastu”, the bidder is said to be from Japan, and he beat out five other bidders. Prior to the winning $780,000, the bidding had only reached $190,000 as of October 23. Natsu’s major bid was a clear last minute attempt to ensure his prize.
Migliorini jumped on the project two years ago when she saw an advertisement by Thomas Williams Productions looking for a virgin to film.
Sisely will be recording her emotions before and after her first sexual encounter. An Australian film crew will be following her every step to make a documentary film called “Virgins Wanted.”
A male virgin named Alexander Stepanov also auctioned off his virginity, but he only managed to rack up $3,000 from a Brazilian woman only identified as “Nene B”.
