Monday, three children and their mother were taken to the hospital after a man at a bus stop in Spain threw acid at their faces.
The unprovoked attack left two of the children with burns to their face and necks, but they were released from the hospital. A third children however, was not so lucky and was hospitalized with burns with second-degree burns to his eyes and face. Their mother was also hospitalized after she received burns to her airway.
The man was taken to jail after being arrested in A Coruna just a few minutes after the attack. The family told police that the suspect did not say a word to them before throwing the acid.
