The Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) said more than 62 million pesos ($4.8 Million) jewelry; property, trees, vehicles and firearms were captured with Jesus Alvarado Aguilar, an alleged leader of the false Televisa group of reporters detained in Nicaragua.
The criminals have set up a counterfeit company of the legit Televisa.
Jesus Alvarado is a fugitive and is the father of Rachel Alvarado Torres, head of the fake media group captured in August 2012, who found $ 9.2 million in cash in vans with logos representing the fake company.
The 18 Mexicans arrested today face a sentence of 30 years in prison in the Central American nation.The PGR has given 90 days to the alleged offender to prove the legal origin of the goods or otherwise they will be abandoned to the State.
The property located at street number 229 Outcrop Circuit Canada, Fractionation Canada del Refugio.
Also located were pens of the brand Tiffany & Co, Mont Blac, Cartier, 31 watches, most of them 14k and 18k marks Tissot, Mido, Victorinox, Baume & Mercier Extensible, Cartier, Bvlgari , Omega, Longiness, Ulysse Nardin, Rolex, Milan, Time Force, Bvlova, Orient, Mont Blac and Chaumet Paris.
