Watch as the fifth division Atlético Tostado team gangs up on the referee, who is forced to pull a Houdini to protect his life!

The video speaks for itself, but here are the quick and dirty facts:

Unión San Guillermo and Atlético Tostado are playing a friendly game that goes unfriendly at the three second mark (watch), when Tostado’s number 5 pounces right foot first on a Unión San Guillermo player’s leg, who protests.

Number 5 didn’t like him protesting, so he jabs him square on the breather.

The ref calls for foul, but despite being just a few feet from the incident, calls it on Tostado number 2, who sucker punches the referee as he is pulling a penalty card from his breast pocket.

Number 2 and the ref exchange a couple blows before five more men charge at the poor ref with closed fists, banging on him mercilessly.

A Tostado player flies in from the right of the frame like a ninja, lands a flying kick on the ref and retreats.

On the 30 second mark, coaches and team assistants join in to the melee, and somebody even uses the ball against the ref, who seconds later abandons the field running for his life.
