Photo: Alex Rodriguez Sells Miami Beach Mansion for $15M Profit
Maybe Alex Rodriguez should have been featured on one of the house-flipper reality shows, because he just made a serious profit on his Miami Beach mansion.
The currently injured Yankees third baseman bought the nearly 20,000-sq-foot home in 2010 for $7.4 million. After purchasing the 9-bedroom, 13-bath home, Rodriguez, 37. also put another $7.6 million in renovations into it.
Though he may have put quite a bit on money into it, the ball player still managed to sell it for a $15 million profit.
Original asking price was reportedly $38 million, but the unidentified buyer was able to haggle Rodriguez down to $30 million.
Additional selling points for the mansion were a 4-car garage, a Zen garden, water access, and a state of the art 16-camera security system.
Prior to the sale, Rodriguez had been renting the home for $125,00 a week since January.
