Television fans and fans (of a certain age) of ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and the ‘Brady Bunch’ are mourning the loss of these shows creator Sherwood Schwartz.
Schwartz, who worked with his son Lloyd J. Schwartz, was working on a film adaption of ‘Gilligan’s Island’ when he died from natural causes.
Schwartz passed away at age 94 and not only created iconic shows in the ‘‘60s’, ‘70s and ‘80s he also worked on “My Favorite Martian,” “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” and “The Red Skelton Show.”
Who can forget when Desi Arnaz Jr. appeared as Marcia’s dream date. Many of Schwartz shows were dubbed in Spanish and have a large Latin American following. There was even the spanish cartoon called ‘Los Chicos Brady’.
Adios Amigo and Gracias for all the TV entertainment.
