The state of Chihuahua adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on July 6, 1824, is the biggest State in Mexico, slightly larger than the United Kingdom, its official name is Free and Sovereign State of Chihuahua.

 

 

The state of Tamaulipas adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on February 7, 1824, it is one of the 19 original states founders of Mexico. its official name is Free and Sovereign State of Tamaulipas.

 

The state of Sinaloa adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on October 14, 1830, originally part of the State of Sonora and Sinaloa (or State of the West), was the first state admitted after the 19 original states, founders of Mexico. Its official name is Free and Sovereign State of Sinaloa.


The state of Oaxaca adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on December 21, 1823. Birthplace of Benito Juarez, Oaxaca is the historic home of the Zapotec and Mixtec native americans, and contains more speakers of indigenous languages than any other Mexican state. Its official name is Free and Sovereign State of Oaxaca.

The state of Veracruz adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on December 22, 1823, Veracruz was the entry point for Spanish conquest of Mexico. Its official name is Free and Sovereign State of
Veracruz of Ignacio de la Llave.

The state of Yucatan adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on December 23, 1823, as Federated Republic (at that time included the now states of Yucatan, Campeche and Quintana Roo) its official name is Free and Sovereign State of Yucatan.


The federal territory of Quintana Roo was created on November 24 1902, with territory of the state of Yucatan
Quintana Roo was admitted as State on October 8, 1974, being the 30th state of the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States.

The state is home to the famous city of Cancun, the island Cozumel, Tulum and the Riviera Maya.

The state of Chiapas adhered to the Federal Republic of the United Mexican States on September 14, 1824, was the last state to join the federation of 19 original states that formed Mexico.

Chiapas is larger and biologically diverse than many countries of the world such as Ireland, Costa Rica and Denmark
