Mexican authorities are reporting that they have rescued 513 migrants of different nationalities inside two cramped tractor trailers making their way into the U.S. illegally.

The migrants apparently paid $7,000 each to smugglers and were rescued in Chiapas, Mexico.  Authorities found the conditions inside the trailers ‘inhumane’ and highly dangerous.  One trailer was housing 240 people and the other had 273 inside.  The trailers were spotted when they rushed past a security check point near the U.S.-Guatemala border.

The majority of illegal aliens were from Central America and some from as far away as China, Japan and Nepal.  Women and children were also found inside the trailers.

All the migrants are being processed by Mexico’s Interior ministry and will be returned to their native homelands.
