In 2002, Coty collaborated with Jennifer Lopez and created the modern celebrity fragrance category with Glow by JLo. After generating over $100 million in sales in its first year, Glow remains one of the world’s most successful fragrance launches ever.
To celebrate the 10-year partnership with the icon, Coty held a party at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. Present at the party was a large cake made in the shape of the bottle of Lopez’s latest scent, Glowing.
Today, in 2012, the house of Jennifer Lopez consists of eighteen fragrances, which are sold in 25 countries. The singer/actress’ fragrances have netted nearly $2 billion in retail sales.
Glowing is now available in all 1,100 Kohl’s locations.
