Over hundred passengers mutinied a Ryanair flight from the Spanish Canary Islands when several passengers were asked to pay a fee for outsized carry-on luggage, as they were boarding the flight.
One male passenger, who was traveling with other Belgian college students, refused to pay then was denied access on to the plane. That’s when his other traveling companions rushed the tarmac and mutinied the flight. Spanish police were called to calm the situation, eventually removing all 166 passengers.
Only 66 of the passengers were allowed to continue to their final destination in Belgium and only after a three hour delay.
