Immigration Enforcement is Focused On Employers Says Govt.

After the operation last weekend that saw 223 people questioned at 16 Phoenix-area carwashes, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement say that they will focus their efforts on investigating and punishing companies that hire undocumented immigrants.

ICE’s investigation of the Danny’s Family Carwash chain revealed that the company knowingly hired undocumented immigrants and, in some cases, helped them assume different identities.

Ana Maria Canseco Set to Return to Morning TV on Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Dia”

Mexican TV personality Ana Maria Canseco is returning to U.S. Spanish-language television to host “Un nuevo dia,” Telemundo’s morning show, the network announced Tuesday.

Canseco’s participation in the program, which will air on Sept. 9, is a return to TV after working for years hosting the Univision morning show “Despierta America.”

Demi Lovato, who turned 21 on Tuesday, is now the latest celebrity to reportedly have nude photos floating around and up for sale thanks to “hackers.”

The former Disney sweetheart may or may not actually be the person in the photos, but those who have seen them say the young woman in the photographs bares a striking resemblance to the “Warrior” singer, appearing to have the tattoos and physical features the star is known to have.

Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian were among Flores’ victims.

In the Tierra Caliente region of the state, in the municipality of San Miguel Totolapan, eight people were found murdered by gunshot wounds. 

Based on the preliminary report of the authorities, none of the bodies had any identification among their belongings.

Also found were a rifle AR 15, a nine-millimeter pistol, six magazines AK47, six magazines AR 15, a grenade, 170 rounds of ammunition 7.62 223 192 cartridges and three trimmings.

Preliminary investigations indicate that it was a clash between two rival cartels.

Authorities moved the bodies to the amphitheater of Coyuca de Catalán.

While in the North, in the city of Taxco de Alarcón, in a clandestine grave eight bodies were found, which were in an advanced state of putrefaction.

Though it has not been confirmed, Brazil’s Aida Mendes may be the oldest skydiver ever following a jump on Saturday.

The 103-year-old skydived in tandem with an instructor near the three-country border of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina.

The 32-year-old made $42 million in the last 12 months, earning her more than seven times the second supermodel on the list, Miranda Kerr.

HISPANIC HEALTH: Hispanic Teen Drug Use Dramatically Higher Than Other Teens

The Partnership at Drugfree.org today released new research from the latest Partnership Attitude Tracking Study (PATS), a nationally projectable survey that tracks teen drug and alcohol use and parent attitudes toward substance abuse among teens. The research, sponsored by MetLife Foundation, shows that Hispanic teens are using drugs at alarmingly higher levels when compared to teens from other ethnic groups. It confirms that substance abuse has become a normalized behavior among Latino youth.

According to the new PATS data, Hispanic teens are more likely to engage in substance abuse when compared to teens from other ethnic groups and are more likely to have abused the following substances within the past year:

Spanish professional cycling team Euskaltel Euskadi said Tuesday that it will disband at the end of this season after failing to secure a second sponsor for 2014.

“From this moment on Euskaltel will start an orderly and responsible close down of the project including immediate negotiations to free up the members of the team,” the team said in a statement.

Josie Molina is one brave 11-year-old. She stood in front of over 200 people and asked Representative Scott DesJarlais what could be done to prevent her father from being deported. As Josie fights to keep her family together, Desjarlais and other obstructionist politicians refuse to fix an immigration system that separates over 1,000 families a day. Watch DesJarlais’s callous response below.

What you don’t see is a group of over 90 Rutherford County residents behind Josie who showed up to urge DesJarlais, their representative in Congress, to support common-sense immigration reform. At least 160 fragments of sculptures, possibly of jaguars, were discovered by specialists in the archaeological park of Cihuatan, located in central El Salvador, the Culture Secretariat said.

The remains come from “five or six feline sculptures,” found along with pieces of two censers, the secretariat said in a statement.

Bodies of nine people gagged, handcuffed, blindfolded and with the coup de grace, were located the early hours on the side of the road North Division-Punta de Agua.  Reportedly the bodies were dumped by the Knights Templar, ” Mireles said the killings have occurred between 9:30 and 10:00 pm yesterday, because at that time were seen about 30 trucks around the North Division to La Ruana, and on the the stretch Iron Bridge around 01:30 in the morning when it was reported that the bodies were found. . . indicated that the victims are unidentified as yet.

At a distance of approximately 20 meters from the original bodies bodies heading toward Punta de Agua ,three more bodies were found at the edge of the road. At that point, the military authorities and the Regional Deputy found a piece of cardboard in which the alleged killers wrote the following message:

” Continue to support the Templars “. Later, in the same direction, a distance of about 15 meters, three more bodies were stacked, It is reported that all the victims were blindfolded and had gunshot wounds to the head, (coup de grace), so that once were carried out necessary steps were taken to the Forensic Medical Service for expert studies Apatzingán of Law Regarding the message that was located next to the bodies,

Distancing the local community groups from the violence, Mireles said ” we do not kill anyone and never would leave a message to anyone. We rarely never leave the municipalities. We are people simply defending our families”. We are well prepared, he said, and organized so that the cartels cannot penetrate. Regarding the bodies, he said, they do not even belong to their communities and that one of them was identified as Carlos, a driver of the van that passes between Pizandaro and Catherine. He reiterated that their struggle is not against the government but against the cartels.

Mexico’s Popular “La Voz” Gets Ready to Debut Its Third Season

The third season of the television program “La Voz…Mexico” was presented in the Mexican capital with such novelties as the celebrity coaches stealing contestants from each other and the use of a double chair, that of the Puerto Ricans Wisin & Yandel.

From their revolving double seat, the duo will have to blindly choose a group of singers and afterwards train them to discover the best voice in Mexico.

A total of 19 people were arrested and 254 guns were seized as a result of the largest-ever confiscation of arms in New York, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Monday.

Among the weapons impounded were several high-capacity assault rifles and a machine gun, he told a press conference.

One person was killed in a confrontation between employees and agents of the court-appointed administrators of a bankrupt sugar refinery in northern Peru, President Ollanta Humala said Monday.

More than 300 workers have been occupying the premises of the AgroPucala cooperative since late last week.
