Today in Latin American history, Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin who has won multiple music awards was born in 1971.
Martin, who started his singing career in the Latin all boy-band group Menudo, has also acted in TV series and Broadway.
Throughout his career, he has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide.
