Iconic Photograph of Che Guevara was Taken in 1960

Today in Latin American history, Cuban photographer Alberto Korda took his iconic photograph of Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara in 1960.
Known as “Guerrillero Heroico” (Heroic Guerrilla Fighter), the photograph was taken in Havana, Cuba.
The image has been regarded as a symbol of the 20th century and the world’s most famous photo.
