Today in Latin American history, Colombian singer Juanes who has won 20 Latin Grammys was born in 1972.
Originally a member of the heavy metal band Ekhymosis, his solo albums have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.
Juanes is also known for his humanitarian work, especially with aid for Colombian victims of anti-personnel mines.
