McCain Receives Endorsement of National Border Patrol Council
The National Border Patrol Council backed U.S. Senator, John McCain’s re-election campaign, his office announced Thursday.
“On behalf of nearly 3,000 rank and file men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol in the Tucson Sector, I am proud to endorse Senator John McCain for re-election,” Bradon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council’s Local 2544, said.
“Senator McCain is committed to securing our borders and making sure we have the resources we need to get the job done.” He continued by saying McCain’ has proven his “commitment to restoring the rule of law to our border”.
Judd went on to criticize Democrat, Rodney Glassman for opposing Arizona’s controversial law, SB1070. He said, “Our state needs a senator who understands that with the right tools and policies, we can secure our border and give Arizonans the safety and security they deserve. That Senator is John McCain.”
McCain stated that he was proud to be supported by the National Border Patrol Council. “I look forward to continuing our work together to secure our border and keep Arizona safe.”
