Hillary Clinton’s Astrological Chart

Hillary’s Chart

Just this week a major U.S. newspaper described Hillary Clinton as “naturally guarded”, and “unusually private“. She’s been decried as “secretive”. Yet as any Scorpio will tell you, there’s no conscious attempt to hide. It’s just their nature.

Hillary Clinton’s date and place of birth are well known. But her time of birth, critical for calculating her chart accurately, has been in question. Heike Pott, a Uranian Astrologer in Germany, “rectified” Clinton’s chart. Rectification is a method by which astrologers determine a person’s birth time after examining the dates of major life events.

Mrs. Clinton’s penchant for privacy is the result of having the Sun q and 2 major planets, Venus r and Mercury e, in Scorpio x. Scorpio is a Water sign. Scorpio operates on such a deep and unconscious level that it is not always easy to express its feelings.

Sensitive and intuitive, Water signs are attuned to non-verbal communication. They can sense other people’s thoughts and feelings. Clinton’s Moon is in Pisces, also a Water sign. Pisces is the most sensitive sign, and can make a person feel very vulnerable and exposed. Scorpio is the only water sign that will fight.

The sign Gemini was rising at Hillary Clinton’s birth. The Rising degree is how we appear to others. Gemini is an Air sign, curious and eager to learn, connect and communicate. Clinton loves being and working in public, As her public mask, Gemini makes her appear very sociable. However, her deep self is private. Attempting to share that is awkward and difficult. Even if she isn’t “hiding” something, she may appear as if she is not revealing a major portion of herself. What we read as Clinton’s “holding back” is her caution and measured control. Her Mercury at 21 degrees of Scorpio is exactly 90 degrees to her Saturn at 21 degrees of Leo. Mercury/Saturn focuses and thinks seriously before it speaks. It’s an energy often emphasized in the charts of technical experts.

Like Trump, Clinton has a planet on her Ascendant (her Rising degree). Trump has Mars and appears ready for an alley fight at a moment’s notice. Clinton has planet Uranus on her Rising Degree. Uranus is a higher octave of Mars and can be equally impulsive. Uranus is more mental and can give one keen insights quickly. Uranus on one’s Ascendant can mark one as a radical individualist; a rebel; and a trailblazer.

Clinton’s Uranus makes a 90` to her Moon, her feelings and emotions. The Moon symbolizes the feminine and women. In the chart of a public figure, it represents “the people”, one’s audience and public. In her 10th House, “people”, and “women” specifically, figure as a major player in Clinton’s career. She has several planetary configurations which provide a stabilizing force, an anchor, in her personality and behavior.

The 3 Scorpio planets and 3 in Leo, in FIXED signs, give Clinton the ability to maintain, persevere, and hold her views largely unchanged, even stubbornly so. I mentioned Mercury’s impact earlier. her Venus connects to Mars and Pluto by a 2 degree orb; and to her Saturn by a 5 degree orb. Venus symbolizes our charm, our values, and popularity. In a woman’s chart it is one of the symbols of her femininity. I believe that part of Clinton’s struggle to be accepted by the public, and many women in particular is Venus’ connection with these 3 planets, all considered “malefic”.

Venus/Mars gives her passion. Venus/Pluto provides her with magnetism and intensity. Saturn, cold and restricting, almost muffles her feminine charm. It makes her appear cautious and calculating…acting like a lead wall around her desire to connect. This may provide her with more grounding than Trump possesses, but it handicaps her ability to be accepted spontaneously.

Margret Thatcher’s Venus had no aspects to Saturn. Angela Merkel’s Venus connects to Saturn by a benign 60 degree angle, a sextile. Golda Meir’s Venus opposed Saturn, a difficult connection comparable to Clinton’s square aspect. Clinton is demonstrably readier for the duties of the U.S. Presidency than Trump. Let’s see how well she’s able to “charm” voters this fall.
