On April 9, Mercury (one’s thinking, communication) goes Retrograde (from our vantage point on Earth, appears to go “backwards”). Mercury rules communication, (including listening, speaking, learning, reading, editing, researching, negotiating, selling, and buying). It also rules formal contracts and agreements, and important documents such as book manuscripts, term papers, deeds, leases, wills, etc. Mercury also rules computer codes, transportation, shipping, and travel. When it goes retrogrades, these areas can get scrambled or spin out of control. Anticipate things not going according to plan. Don’t make important moves while Mercury is retrograde. It may be hard to get decisions from others. Even when a decision is made, it will be subject to change. Slow down. Don’t start new projects. Work on things you already had in the pipeline. This is a good time to do needed maintenance. Mercury remains retrograde until May 3.
