UPCOMING:  President Obama’s Latino Education Town Hall

Univision will host “Noticias Univision Presenta: Es El Momento – El Presidente, Los Hispanos y la Educación” (The Moment is Now: The President, Hispanics and Education) on Monday, March 28, from Bell Multicultural High School in Washington, D.C.

Hosted by Jorge Ramos, an Emmy-award winning journalist and co-anchor of “Noticiero Univision,” the town hall will give President Barack Obama the opportunity to engage with students, parents and teachers in an important dialogue on education and Hispanic educational attainment.

According to White House sources, the historic event will be broadcast on the Univision Network at 7 p.m. EDT and 7 p.m. PDT, Monday. It will also be streamed online on www.EsElMomento.com in English and Spanish and simulcast on Univision Radio.

Topics to be discussed at the town hall with President Obama will include better preparing students for college and 21st-century careers, greater parental engagement in education, and the politics of reforming the education system.
