As always Disney’s Dreamers Academy, which just concluded this week, brought together a special group of outstanding high school students from the U.S.  Dubbed the ‘world’s most creative classroom’, this Disney and Steve Harvey initiative motivates high school students to achieve their dreams personally and professionally.

This year’s Hispanic standout was 16-year old Jose Villagomez from McAllen, Texas who attends the James Nikki Rowe High School.  He was chosen from amongst hundreds of applicants to attend the Dreamers Academy in Buena Vista, Florida for four days.  There he was inspired to reach his goal of pursuing a degree in music art and becoming a famous international DJ.

Jose and the 110 other students participated in immersive workshops focusing on a variety of subjects including entertainment; entrepreneurship, culinary arts and creative inspiration from the world renowned Walt Disney Imaginers.

Felicidades to Jose, his family who was in attendance and all the other outstanding students in this year’s Dreamers Academy Class of 2011.
