The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) has named United Data Technologies (UDT) President and CEO, Henry Fleches, as the official Hispanic Business Enterprise (HBE) Co-Chairman for its 32nd Annual National Convention and Business Expo in Miami, FL. September 18-21, 2011.
Fleches, who founded his company in 1995 has grown the business to become a leader in high-performance IT systems and solutions. As HBE Chairman, he will represent over 3 million Hispanic Business Enterprises across the country at the 2011 National Convention in Miami, the largest gathering of Hispanic business leaders in America. He will serve alongside Senator Mel Martinez, Corporate Convention Chair and Chairman of Florida, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean for JP Morgan Chase & Co.
“Words can’t express what it means to be named the HBE Chair for the USHCC’s National Convention. I attended the convention last year and have been extremely impressed with the professional but powerful manner in which the USHCC helps Hispanic business owners grow their enterprises. I know this will be one of this year’s best events for everyone who attends,” says Fleches. “Being a lifelong native of Florida, I am extremely proud to be selected to co-chair the USHCC National Convention in our home state and to have the opportunity to help so many leaders propel their business with the USHCC.”
Javier Palomarez, USHCC President and CEO says, “Since UDT became an HBE Member of the USHCC last year, we couldn’t have been more pleased with their participation. The USHCC strives to empower and strengthen Hispanic business entrepreneurs, like Henry Fleches, who are at the helm of leading enterprises. I am confident that his leadership role as HBE Chair at our National Convention will inspire other HBEs to connect, strategize and grow with us.”
