An unidentified 60-year old resident of Gage Park was shot in the leg by teens while working in his garage. 

Thursday morning at approximately 8:45 a.m. a man was robbed in his garage at the 5700 block of South Whipple Street.  The police are reporting the suspects were two young males in their early to mid-teens.  After holding the victim at gunpoint they shot him in the leg.

After taking the Gage Park residents’ wallet and shooting him they ran away with his valuables.  Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
