Earlier this week, State Farm Insurance filed a lawsuit against tattoo artist/reality show star Kat Von D.
The lawsuit claims the 2010 fire that severely damaged her house and killed her cat, Valentine, was a result of her own negligence and says she must pay them back.
The Mexico-born artist reportedly lit a number of candles throughout the house which later caused the fire that did $909,199 worth of damage.
State Farm initially covered the bill, but is now suing the 30-year-old because she started the fire, albeit accidentally.
On Wednesday, Kat took to Twitter saying, “Contrary 2 rumors-I did NOT burn my house down (I was on my booktour during the fire) and no, I did NOT kill my own cat.”
