Ms. Diaz received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Florida State University in 1973. She was awarded her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 1976. Shortly thereafter, she began her career with the NLRB in the Chicago Regional Office (Region 13) and later transferred to the Tampa office. Before being appointed Regional Director, she served as a Trial Specialist, Supervisory Attorney, and in 2004 became Regional Attorney in the Tampa office. As Regional Attorney, her duties included supervision of litigation.
