The female pilot of Brazil’s Trip Airlines reportedly had a passenger ejected from a flight after he made sexist remarks about women.

Prior to takeoff form the Belo Horizonte airport on Friday, an unidentified man loudly began making sexist comments about women flying planes.

The man’s sexist rant, during which he yelled, “Someone should have told me the captain was a woman … I’m not flying with a female at the controls,” caused an hour-long delay. After getting booed by his fellow passengers, the man was removed.

On Tuesday, Trip Airlines released a statement saying the pilot had the man removed from the plane, where he was met by police who escorted him from the airport.

After the one-hour delay, the flight continued on course to Goias, Brazil.

A spokesman for the pilots union told Mail Online, ‘It’s the first time I’ve heard of something like this happening.’ Adding, ‘This man had obviously just arrived from Mars and wanted to become a pioneer.’
