Largest gathering of Hispanic Business leaders to convene at USHCC 32nd Annual National Convention, Sept. 18-21, 2011
The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) announced today that it has partnered with the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FSHCC) for the upcoming 32nd Annual National Convention & Business Expo, the largest gathering of Hispanic business leaders in America, taking place at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Fl., from September 18-21, 2011.
Established in 2000 as Florida’s first and only statewide business advocacy organization, specifically focused on the Hispanic business community in Florida, the FSHCC has become one of the state’s most powerful organizations of employers, chambers of commerce and associations.
“Florida is the Gateway to the Americas and has enormous Hispanic diversity, therefore, it is truly an honor that the USHCC has chosen it as the host city for its 2011 Annual Convention,” says Julio Fuentes, President and CEO of the FSHCC. “The future of this nation’s economic recovery depends on the growth of Hispanic owned-businesses. We must do everything we can to support their success, and this partnership is an example of that.”
The 32nd Annual National Convention & Business Expo includes numerous workshops and special events like the International Opening Ceremony, HBE Elite Luncheon, Business Matchmaking, Million Dollar Club Breakfast and the Ultimate Latina Luncheon, honoring 2011 Award Recipient, Gloria Estefan, to name a few.
“As the national voice of the Hispanic business community in America, the USHCC is proud to work with the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a longtime advocate of local business and one of our members,” says Javier Palomarez, USHCC President and CEO. “The USHCC 32nd Annual National Convention comes to Florida at a critical time to help promote continued economic development of Hispanic business across the country. Having strong partnerships like these will ensure that our 2011 Convention is a success.”
