Ecuadorian futballer, Antonio Valencia has been named Manchester United’s Player’s Player of the Year.
Coach Sir Alex Ferguson stated, “The form he’s produced this season since coming back from injury has been amazing.” Adding. “He’s a great professional and he has the qualities we love in our game. I think that’s why the other players have given him this award.”
The 26-year-old winger was also honored with the Fans’ Player of the Season award, after winning 32 percent of the online votes.
Also, for his goal against the Blackburn Rovers last month, Valencia won the award for Goal of the Season.
Valencia was born in Lago Agrio, Ecuador and has been with ManU since June 2009.
