Rumors are beginning to intensify that Barcelona’s famous soccer player, Gerard Picqué, and world famous Israeli super model Bar Refaeli are now enjoying a new romance.  Although nothing has been confirmed and a split has yet to be announced between the soccer star and his supposed current girlfriend, Colombian singer, Shakira.

Journalist for Spain’s La Razon, Jesús Mariñas, strongly believes the relationship or affair is heating up.  He states, “Picqué is mad about the model.”

The super model, an ex-girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio was recently staying at the Hotel Mandarin in Barcelona for the fashion show of Spanish bridal designer Pronovias.  She was also seen on vacation in Cerdeña with the handsome multimillionaire David Fisher recently.

Nonetheless, she felt it necessary to deny all rumors and states she has nothing to do with the soccer player.
