A federal appeals court ruled that undocumented immigrants do not have the right to own or possess firearms.  This ruling came after an undocumented immigrant; Emmanuel Huitron-Guizar of Wyoming was arrested last year for the possession of firearms. 

The defendant’s attorney appealed the case, stating that the undocumented should possess the same rights as U.S. citizens in buying a gun for protection as well as hunting purposes.  Yet, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed and ruled Monday that the undocumented only have limited protection under the United States Constitution.

According to CBS Denver, the defendant is being held at the Natrona County Detention Center in Casper, Wyoming.
