The Mexican actor and Best Actor nominee, Demián Bichir, has been signed onto the cast for Robert Rodriguez’s new film “Machete Kills”, the sequel to the 2010 film “Machete”.

In the sequel, the U.S. government drafts Machete to find an arms dealer in Mexico who plans to launch the arms into space.

According to reports, Bichir will play alongside Mel Gibson, who will also be in the sequel as a supporting character.

No news yet on who the actor’s character will play in the film, but his talent is sure to make him a hit in the film.
