resident Barack Obama joined news anchor, José Díaz-Balart in an in-depth conversation about the economy, international relations, immigration reform and other subjects of interest to the Hispanic community, before heading to the “2012 Summit of the Americas” in Cartagena, Colombia.
The conversation opened with the subject of North Korea and the potential consequences of its recent failed missile test: “They make all these investments, tens of millions of dollars in rockets that don’t work at a time when their people are starving, literally. What we intend to do it to work with the international community to further isolate North Korea,” said the President.
