We don’t think Jose Javier Alcantar will make it to the Husband of the Year list.  The 32-year-old Harlingen Texas resident was angry with his wife and doused her clothes with gasoline but he didn’t stop there. 

To make sure the clothes ignited he fired his rifle into the closet where the doused clothes were.  KABOOM.  Alcantar is now charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

The double count is from the fact that Alcantar’s wife and 6-year-old son were at home when he ignited the clothes, endangering both of them.
