Three lucky winners will each win a trip for two to this exciting “land of lakes and volcanoes.” The launch of the Facebook page is part of Nicaragua’s new $3 million tourism marketing campaign, which also includes a new Nicaragua Tourism U.S. website.  Nicaragua has experienced a steady increase in U.S. travelers over the past couple of years and now is priming for future growth.

The first prize is the “Cities and Nature” trip, which includes touring the historic colonial city of Granada, zip-lining through the forest canopy, kayaking and hiking a volcano. The second prize, the “Pacific and Volcanoes” trip, offers a tour of the colonial city of Leon, exploring Masaya volcano, ash-boarding down Cerro Negro volcano, touring a cigar factory, horseback riding and surfing.
