Ford Motor Company and Green Festival to Award $5,000 Grant to Best Local, Innovative and Actionable Idea from Chicago Area Non-Profits and Community Leaders
Local companies may submit their ideas until April 27, 2012; winner to be announced at annual Green Festival in Chicago, May 5-6, 2012 at Navy Pier
WHAT: Ford Motor Company and Green Festival call for local non-profits and community leaders to enter sustainable, forward-thinking project proposals to receive the $5,000 Ford Community Green Grant. No idea is too big or small to be considered and the deadline for entries is April 27, 2012. Festival attendees will choose their favorite proposal from a group of finalists determined by a Ford Motor Company and Green Festival panel. Votes will be tallied on-site and the grant winner will be announced on the final day of the annual Green Festival in Chicago on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
