In 2010, a little girl named Ella was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Having battled her way through cancer for the last two year, Ella had just one wish, to meet Selena Gomez.

“When you’re the parent of a child with cancer, it just feels like the meanest of the world is just coming down and slapping you in the face,” Ella’s father said. “When the folks from Make-A-Wish told us that she would be able to have a wish, it felt like the whole world was righting some wrong.”

With the help of the Make-A-Wish foundation and X-Box, Ella’s wish became a reality.

With her family by her side, little Ella was able to not only meet Selena, but play video games with her.
