In 2010, actor-model William Levy was sued for sexual battery of a minor, but this week, the telenovela star has reason to flash that impressive smile, as the case against him was dropped.
The alleged victim, Karla Alvarez, then 17, accused the Cuban-American actor of sexual battery and false imprisonment, saying she was lured to his Hilton Hotel room in Glendale, California where he forced her to perform a sex act on him. She also claimed he gave her an STD.
Levy vehemently denied the allegations and counter sued for extortion and defamation, saying any sex acts between them were consensual and that she “wilfully, fraudulently, and maliciously deceived [Levy] into believing that she was a 19-year-old consenting adult.”
The young woman ultimately dropped her case against him asking “that the Court dismiss this action with prejudice.”
The father of two is currently competing on the 14th season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” with professional dancer Cheryl Burke as his partner.
Having performed for the judges twice now, Levy is already becoming a favorite, not just for his dance moves, but his unbelievably good looks.
