A fire fight broke out between a group of gunmen and the Mexican Army, Sunday morning on the Boulevard to Petaquillas in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. The danger caused panic among people in the area.

According to reports, locals reported that the shootout lasted several minutes. It apparently all began when soldiers were conducting a routine surveillance tour and they encountered several armed men traveling in two vans.
