This alert gives notice to business owners operating the in the 008th District of a recent armed robbery incident which occurred onFebruary 22, 2012 at 1:55pm, in
the 4600 block of South Kedzie Ave. Two male white Hispanic offenders entered the location and requested to see jewelry pieces. An additional two male white Hispanic offenders entered and all four offenders announced a robbery. The offenders possibly fled in a red or maroon sport utility vehicle.

About the Offenders:
• 4 Male/White Hispanic Offenders 5’4”-5’8”, 160-210 lbs.

• Offenders wore dark hooded sweatshirts and dark pants

• One offender displayed a blue steel semi-automatic handgun

What you can do:
• Always be aware of your surroundings

• Report suspicious activity immediately

• If you are confronted by an assailant remain calm

• Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limp, acne, teeth,etc…)

• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police
